If I can learn new tricks that means I’m not old, right? I am in my 40’s and have found unexpected joy in running and rediscovered joy in in painting. They say it’s never too late to learn something new, I don’t think that’s an actual saying. I even opened an Etsy shop and have sold exactly one item! So I guess I am technically an entrepreneur as well., a word I needed to spell-check.
I am having a hopefully slightly before mid-life crisis and have no interest in a sports car so I started a blog. I am revisiting hobbies I used to enjoy like painting/art and discovered some that I never dreamed I would enjoy, like running! I discuss the moon-landing like feat of running my first 10k here! I like to hike, bike and spend time with my family. I work too but the older I get, the less I like to define myself by my work.
I make a lot of 80’s movie and song references so there is that to look forward to. I consider myself a below average baker and an above average karaokier.
